Ginger Chicken kerala style


Ingredients needed for the Ginger Chicken
1 chicken  (about a kilo)
1 tbsp ginger paste
1 tbsp garlic paste
4 green chillies
1 tsp pepper powder
2 tbsps sliced spring onions  /1 onion chopped
1/4 cup oil
1 tbsp vinegar
2 tsps soya sauce
salt to taste

How to prepare the Ginger Chicken?
Clean, wash and cut chicken into small pieces.
Grind green chillies, pepper powder, ginger and garlic paste with a little salt to prepare a smooth paste.
Apply the paste all over the chicken pieces. Keep it covered for half an hour and then cook till tender.
Heat oil in a pan, saute the chopped onions till golden.
Add soya sauce, vinegar and the cooked chicken with the masala gravy.
Cook it till it gets thick.
Sprinkle chopped spring onion leaves.
Remove from fire and serve hot.
Serve with hot plain rice, pulaos / rotis.
