Neeru Dosa a recipe from Karnataka


Ingredients needed to prepare Neeru Dosa
1 cup Idli rice / boiled  rice
½ cup coconut grated
1 tsp salt/ to taste
about 2½ cups of water

How to prepare Neeru Dosa ?
After soaking the rice for 5-6 hours, drain the water completely. 
Put in the grinder and add ½ cup coconut to it.
Grind to smooth paste adding very little water.
Add  salt to taste and 2½ cups of water to the batter and mix well. See that the batter is of thin watery consistency.
Take a ladle of the dosa batter  and pour over the hot dosa tava.
Cover  the tava with a lid and cook for a minute on medium flame. There is no need to flip this dosa.
once the dosa is cooked completely, it is ready to be served.
finally, fold it and remove from the tava.
Serve neeru dose / neeru dosa immediately with a spicy chutney
