Nadan Beef Masala

Ingredients needed for Nadan Beef Masala
1/2 kilo beef cut into small pieces
1 cup fresh grated coconut
1"piece cinnamon
3 cloves
2 cardamom
1 tsp saunf
1 tsp pepper
1 tbsp coconut oil
1/2 tbsp red chilli powder
1 tbsp coriander powder
1 tsp turmeric powder
1" piece Ginger julienned
4 green chillies
handful curry leaves
Salt to taste

How to prepare Nadan Beef Masala?
Heat  a fry pan, roast grated coconut along with whole garam masala to a golden colour. Now add the powder masalas  to it  and mix well.
When it gets cold grind it to a smooth paste. Keep aside.
In a pressure pan, add the beef pieces, ginger, green chillies and curry leaves with just enough water to cook the beef tender.
When the meat gets done, remove the lid of the pressure cooker and add salt to taste.
Simmer and then add the ground coconut masala to it.  Mix well and simmer till all the masala and the beef blends well together.
Remove from fire when there still  is a little gravy left in the pan.
Serve this along with rotis, pulaos etc.
