Minced Beef Cabbage Thoran


Ingredients needed for  Kheema Cabbage Thoran
500 grams cabbage
500 grams kheema ( mutton / beef )
Salt to taste
1/4 tsp turmeric powder
2 tbsps coconut oil
2 tsps finely chopped ginger
8-10 green chillies finely chopped
1 tbsp crushed garlic
handful curry leaves
1 tsp pepper crushed slightly
1/2 tsp mustard seeds
2-3 red chillies

How to prepare Kheema Cabbage Thoran?
Cook the kheema / mince separately with salt and turmeric powder till it gets tender and dry. Keep aside.
Heat a wide fry pan, splutter mustard seeds, red chillies and the curry leaves. Add the chopped ginger, green chillies and crushed garlic to the pan.mix welland saute till they get golden brownish.
Add the cooked mince to it and stir till the mince meat gets dry.
Now add the shredded cabbage to it and cover. Simmer and cook for a minute or two till the cabbage  is cooked.
Serve as a side dish with rice, rotis etc.
