Prawn Fry


Ingredient needed for Prawn Fry
500 grams prawns , shelled and deveined

Marinade for the prawn fried recipe
1 tsp mustard paste
1 tsp pepper powder
2 tbsp lime juice
2 tbsp oil
salt to taste

For the Coating
1 beaten egg
1/4 corn flour
1/2 cup maida
1/2 cup coconut (desiccated)
oil for deep frying as required

How to prepare Prawn Fry:
Mix all the ingredients for the marinade together. Apply them on the cleaned and shelled prawns and mix well.
Keep aside for half an hour.
Mix egg, maida and cornflour to a smooth paste, coat the prawns with the paste and deep fry.
Drain and serve with slices of lemon, onion and tomatoes.

Note:
If you are expecting guests and you want to keep everything ready, marinate and keep the prawns in the refrigerator. You can deep fry in the evening after the guests arrive.
