Mysore Bonda with Idli Batter


Ingredients needed for Mysore Bonda
1 1/2 cups fresh curds ( not very sour )
2 green chillies
1 small piece ginger scraped and chopped fine
3/4 tsp peppercorns
2 tbsps coconut cut in to small peces ( Thenga Kothu )
Few curry leaves chopped
Salt to taste
oil for frying

How to prepare Mysore Bonda with Idli Batter?
Except oil, mix all the ingredients together to form a smooth batter. Keep aside
Hea‎t oil in a deep frying pan. Prepare small balls and drop in to the hot oil.
Fry till they are golden brown. Remove and drain on a kitchen towel.
Serve with chutney or sauce.

Notes
This can be best prepared on the day you grind the idly dosa batter.
If you are not able to prepare balls correctly add a little rice flour and mix well.
If you have already added salt to the dosa batter, do not add extra salt. Check it out and then adjust salt according tou your taste.
