Crispy Egg Pakoras


Crispy Egg Pakoras can be served as an evening snack for growing children who need extra energy. Best food for the kids returning from school and is a healthy teatime snack as well.

Ingredients needed for Egg Pakoras
6 hard boiled eggs, deshelled and halved lengthwise
½ tsp Ginger paste
½ tsp Ajwain
3/4 Cup Besan / Gram flour
1 tsp Corn flour
½ Cup Oil
½ tsp red chilli powder
2 green chillies, chopped fine
1/2 cup coriander leaves, choppped
1 beaten egg
Water as needed for the batter
Salt to taste

How to prepare Egg Pakoras?
Beat one egg nicely.
Prepare the batter for the pakoras by mixing besan with the beaten egg,  green chilli, red chilli powder, ginger paste, ajwain, salt and chopped coriander leaves and about half a cup of water.
Mix in the corn flour and adjust the cosistency of the batter so as to be able to coat the eggs nicely.
Take the batter in a plate, roll the halved egg pieces in the batter.
Deep fry in hot oil to light brown / golden colour.
Serve with Tomato sauce / ketchup.
