Coorgi Chicken Masala

Ingredients for Coorgi Chicken Masala
2 cups Chicken cut into small pieces
2 Green Chillis
5 flakes Garlic
1 tsp Red Chili Powder
1 tbsp Ginger pieces
2 cups Onion pieces
1 tsp Cumin Seeds
10 Pepper
Salt to taste
2 tblsp Oil
1 tblsp Vinegar
1 tbsp chopped Coriander Leaves

How to prepare the dish Coorgi Chicken Masala?
Grind the green chillies, garlic,ginger, cumin seeds,pepper corns,red chilly powder, onions with the salt and the vinegar.
Apply all over the chicken pieces. Leave it to marinate for at least an hour.
Heat the oil in a non stick fry pan.
Add the marinated chicken pieces with the marinade and fry for a minute or two.
Then add one cup of water and cover with a lid.
As it starts boiling, simmer and let the chicken cook till it is tender and the oil starts floating on top.
Serve hot garnished with the chopped coriander leaves.
The dish will go as a combination with rotis, parathas and pulaos
