Ingredients needed for Onion red chilli chammandhi
8-10 kashmiri red chillies
1 cup small onions sliced
1 tsp tamarind pulp ( optional )
Salt to taste
Coconut oil as needed
How to prepare Onion red chilli chammandhi?
Heat oil in a fry pan. Saute red chillies till they change colour.
Remove the chillies and add sliced onions to th same pan.
saute till they are transparent, they need not get golden/ brown.
Add curry leaves and saute for a minute. Let cool.
Mix the ingredients nicely and then grind them to a smooth paste.
Serve with Idli / Dosa / Kanji.
