Methi Paratha

Ingredients needed for Methi Paratha
2 cups Methi / fenugreek leaves
3 cups wheat flour
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
1 tsp red chili powder
2 tsps dhaniya powder
3 tbsps grated jaggery
1/2 tsp salt
1 cup water
3 tbsps oil

How to prepare Methi Parathas?
In a bowl, add all the ingredients except oil and water.
Add water a little at a time to make into a thick and pliable  dough.
Divide the dough in to lemon sized balls and roll them into thin round chappathies.
Heat"tava" or frying pan, put the chappathy on it and flip it when you see small bubbles on the top.
Sprinkle a little oil around the chappathy and fry till they are golden on both sides.
Serve with curd raita and mix veg pickle!

Notes
You can omit jaggery if you do not like the sweet taste for the chappathy.
You can add a tsp of amchur powder for a change to off set the bitterness of the methi leaves.
