Ingredients needed for Dosa Pizza
3 cups fresh Idli Batter
½ cup tomato ketchup
2 tbsps spring onions chopped
½ cup chopped tomato
½ cup chopped capsicum
Ajwain powder as per taste
½ cup grated pizza cheese
How to prepare Dosa Pizza?
The method of preparation is the same as for Idli pizza.
Heat a non stick tava, keep it in low flame.
Pour a ladleful of the batter on to the tava and spread with the back of the spoon to the size of a small oothappam / poori. It should be a little thick one and not like thin dosas.
Spread a little ketchup and then sprinkle chopped spring onions, tomatoes and capsicums.
Sprinkle a little ajwain powder and grated pizza cheese.
The pizza dosa should be covered and simmered while cooking on a dosa tava. You can use a little oil if you like but you will not need it if you use a non stick tava.
The pizza dosa will be crispy and the cheese melted at the same time.
Serve hot with Sauce/ ketch up.
