Pesarettu / Green Gram Adai


Ingredients needed for Green Gram Adai
1 cup Green Gram / whole Moong
1 cup chopped onion
4-5 red chillies
2 tsps cumin seeds
1 tsp Asafoetida
oil / ghee
Salt to taste
coriander and curry leaves chopped fine

How to prepare Green Gram Adai?
Soak Green gram for 3 hours. Grind to a smooth batter with red chillies and cumin seeds.
Add Salt to taste, asafoetida, chopped coriander and curry leaves.
Mix well. Prepare thick dosas in a hot tawa. Pour oil on both sides and flip sides to get them crispy.
Serve hot with coconut chutney / Coriander chutney.
