Ingredients needed for Kappa Cutlets
2 cups kappa boiled and mashed
1/2 cup small onions chopped
2 tsps ginger chopped
2 tsps green chillies chopped
4 red chillies chopped
few curry leaves
1/2 cup besan
oil as needed
Salt to taste
How to prepare Kappa Cutlet?
Mash the tapioca with salt and keep aside.
Heat 2 tsps of oil in a fry pan, add red chilles and green chillies.
Then add curry leaves, small onions, ginger to it. Saute till the onions turn golden. The onions need not turn brown.
Now addthe mashed tapioca to this and mix well.
Remove from fire and cool.
Divide in to small portions, shape them in to cutlets and deep fry to a golden colour.
Serve with tomato Sauce / Ketchup.
