Prawns / Chemmeen Mushroom stew

Ingredients needed for Chemmeen Mushroom stew
500 grams  cleaned prawns
200 grams mushrooms
1 cup sliced onions
4 green chillies
1/2" piece ginger
few curry leaves
1/4 tsp pepper powder
2 green  cardamom
2 piece cinnamon
3 cloves
1/2 cup thick coconut milk
2 cups second and third milk put together
1 tbsp ghee
200 grams oil
1 tbsp cornflour
1 tbsp split cashew nuts
1 tbsp kismis / raisins

How to prepare Chemeen Mushroom stew?
Take a sauce pan, add a little of onions, ginger, garlic, curry leaves and salt to it and add prawns and cook till tender.
Heat ghee in a pan, fry the cashews and kismis and remove.
Then add the remaining onions, garlic, ginger and green chillies, saute for a while till the onions start turning golden. Add mushrooms to this and mix well.
Use second and third extract of the coconut milk to this and cook till the mushrooms get tender.
Add prawns to the pan and add pepper powder, whole garam masala.
As it starts boiling add the first milk.
Mix cornflour in a little cold milk and pour into the boiling gravy. Add the fried cashews and kismis.
As the gravy thickens remove from fire, garnish with chopped coriander leaves and curry leaves.
