Ingredients needed for Thai Red Chilli Curry paste
5-7 Red chillies, deseeded
2 small onions chopped
1 tsp Pepper
2 tsps Jeera - Roasted
1 tbsp coriander powder
2 tbsps coriander leaves
salt to taste
2 tsps grated lime rind
1 tbsp chopped garlic
dry prawns warmed and then crushed
1 tbsp oil
1 tsp Turmeric powder
2 tsps Chilli powder
How to Prepare Thai Red chilli curry paste ?
Remove seeds and the stems from the red chillies. You can also keep the seeds intact if you like it hot. Cut the chillies into small pieces.
Put in all the ingredients together into a mixer bowl and grind it to a paste. If needed add a little more oil/ water and mix well.
Store in airtight container in a refrigerator.
