Tomato red chilli chutney


Ingredients needed for Tomato red chilli chutney
8 red chillies  
8-10 small sambar onions
1/2 cup chopped tomatoes
a sprig Curry leaves
Salt To taste
3-4 tsps Oil

How to prepare Tomato Red Chilli Chutney?
Heat a little oil in a fry pan. Fry the dry red chilies till they turn crispy. Keep it aside.
Put the fried red chillies in a mixer and crush them.
Then add the onions, tomatoes and salt to taste and grind to a smooth paste.
Add the remaining oil to the same fry pan. Splutter the curry leaves and add the above ground mixture.
Stir the mixture continuously till the oil starts to separate.
Remove and serve with idli/ dosa.

Notes :
You can store the chutney in an airtight container and refrigerate for the future use. It will keep for a few days in the refrigerator.
